Container Equip: Purchase, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
Container Equip, by nature of its services (
selling storage and shipping containers), has a policy structure focused on the purchase, delivery, and return of the container unit itself.
Container Equip Cancellation and Modification Policy
1. Returns and Refunds
We offer a
90-day return window after the container has been delivered, subject to conditions listed below.
- Cancellations Before Delivery: A full refund will be issued for cancellations requested before the container leaves our depot for delivery.
- Cancellations After Container Dispatch: Cancellations requested after the container has been loaded for delivery but before it arrives may incur a delivery fee and a restocking fee. The remaining amount will be refunded.
- Refund for Returned Unit: If you choose to return the container within the 90-day window, you will receive a refund for the container price, minus the original delivery fee, the return transportation fee, and a restocking fee (typically 10-15% of the purchase price).
2. Modifications (Before Delivery)
Modifications to your order details (e.g., delivery address, container size change) may be possible
before dispatch, subject to a modification fee and any price difference in the container unit. Modifications after the container has been dispatched are generally not possible.
3. Damaged or Non-Conforming Goods
- Upon Arrival: You or your representative must inspect the container upon arrival. If the unit is significantly damaged or does not match the specifications (grade) outlined in your sales contract, you must immediately notify the delivery driver and reject the delivery.
- Rejected Unit: If the unit is rejected due to damage or non-conformance, Container Equip will either dispatch a replacement unit or issue a full refund, including delivery fees.
- Post-Acceptance Damage: Claims for damage or issues discovered after the delivery has been signed for and accepted will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Important Note
This policy is a general guideline. Specific terms and conditions related to pricing, delivery timelines, and the condition of the container (new vs. used) are detailed in your specific
